PNEUMONIA :-(

Well, I am glad we went in. Isaac has pneumonia and an ear infection. He got antibiotics. Savannah also had wheezing in one part of her lungs, but since she's only been sick 3 days, it's still viral at this point and will not respond to antibiotics. SO, we are to increase nebs of steroids and albuterol for both kids. If Savannah doesn't lose the fever by the weekend she will go back in for another lung check. Bella is still showing no symptoms- lets hope it stays that way. I can't imagine how aweful that could turn out. We are being so careful to wash hands between handling kids, and keeping Isaac and Savannah away from the baby.

Good news of the day is I still got an A on my Quiz tonight in Anatomy and Physiology. :-)

To the doctor...

Well, Isaac has been sick for a week and is starting to complain of an earache on top of his cough. We've been doing nebulizer treatments on and off, but I think it's time to go in. Savannah will be getting her cough checked too b/c of her lung disease history "just in case." Knock on wood, but so far Bella hasn't shown any symptoms! Must be our over zealous handwashing. I have been trying to keep her away from the other two. So, I am going to bring them in this afternoon before my class. Hopefully I get out of there quickly since I have a quiz tonight in lab!

Croup again!

Well, we have the croup again here. Isaac has had a nasty cough since Thursday. Last night Savannah was up all night with a fever and croup cough. Her lungs still soud ok though. Hopefully, the baby doesn't get it this time around. That was a little too scary last time, especially since she still has a soft trachea.

POWDER KEG

This was back in December. Savannah decided to dig out a travel size powder and douse herself and her room in it. I can laugh about it now.

New Site

"Wanna join our tea party?"

Well, I finally got smart and consolidated the girls' websites into one central site. It was getting to be too time consuming to update both CaringBridge Pages and Photobucket, on top of raising three preemies (and all their appts!), and going to school. I will still keep the links to the old sites available so we can look back at their beginnings, but this will be the site that I update.
